So — been using this thing for something like a few months now and I keep coming back, so thought I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. I’m UK based, generally stick to footie and the horses, nothing mad, so take it how you like.
How I found it was honestly pretty stupid — I could never figure out what an each way return actually was when the place terms changed. Basically I’d wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now I type the odds in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.
The single bet calculator tool is the part I’m on daily — you put in stake and odds and you get profit and total return with no faffing, fractions or decimals. There’s also the multiples — acca and treble returns, a lucky 15, a yankee, honestly that’s where I’d always lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it’s here super heinz betting calculator — free, no signup.
One thing that genuinely changed how I bet were the nerdier tools. The odds-to-probability thing which shows you how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly criterion tool — I use half kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutching one is decent if I’m covering two or three runners.
Not all sunshine though. Its interface looks a bit basic — not much polish, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On my phone it works though the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. And no app, it’s browser only — slight shame but worth saying.
Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, works. If anyone honestly works out returns on a calculator app, try it — saved me plenty of arguments with the bookie.
